How the auction works
- Each UTC market day has one bell. Bidding opens at $1 and resets to zero at the close.
- To take the bell, pay any whole-dollar amount above the holding bid. You hold until someone pays more.
- All bids are final. Bids are spent, not escrowed: being outbid doesn’t refund you — you bought the hours you held. And win or lose, every dollar you bid is injected into your listing at $1 = $1, so a beaten bid still moves your Market Cap.
- No account needed — anyone can ring the bell for any listing. Every bell bid is also a Capital Injection at $1 = $1: your dollars land in the listing’s Market Cap, labeled as injected capital. (Regular Capital Injections credit at $1 = $10 — the bell buys the front page on top.)
