1. The service
appmarket.lol is an entertainment and discovery platform that presents internet products in the visual language of a stock market. “Market Value,” “Market Cap,” “Share Price,” tickers, charts, and rankings are fictional scores generated by our systems, expressed in dollar-like units purely as a game mechanic.
2. Not an investment
Nothing on appmarket.lol is a security, investment product, prediction market, or financial instrument. You cannot invest in, buy, sell, or trade listings. “Capital Injection” is a promotional purchase that increases a listing’s fictional Market Value score. It confers no ownership, no security, no token, no redemption value, no right to repayment, no profit entitlement, no cash-out, and no transferability. Scores decay over time by design. No financial return of any kind is offered or implied.
3. Listings and ownership
Anyone may submit a product they are authorized to represent. We may create listings for public products; legitimate owners can contact us about them. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit. We may edit, merge, or remove listings at our discretion.
4. Fair play
Attempting to manipulate rankings — automated traffic, coordinated fake activity, fabricated accounts, or event replay — is prohibited and may result in down-weighting, delisting, or account termination. Anti-abuse systems may exclude activity from scoring while retaining audit records.
5. Paid features
Capital Injections affect Market Cap and rankings and are always publicly labeled and displayed separately from organic value; injected value decays faster than organic value. Refunded injections have their remaining contribution removed. Sponsored ad placements are advertisements, labeled as such, and never affect Market Value. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions: legal@appmarket.lol.
