Who these rules apply to

These rules apply to everything anyone submits to appmarket.lol: listings, tickers, company names, descriptions, logos and images, reviews, and every link a listing points to. They are part of our Terms of Service. Submitting content, or paying for any feature that promotes it, means you agree to them. We enforce these rules on both the content uploaded to appmarket.lol and the destination site a listing links to.

Adult content is prohibited

You may not upload, submit, or display adult content on appmarket.lol, and you may not list a product whose purpose or content is adult in nature. This prohibition covers:

  • pornography and sexually explicit images, video, audio, text, or AI-generated material;
  • nudity, sexualized imagery, and sexually suggestive logos or thumbnails;
  • adult entertainment sites, cam sites, adult subscription platforms, sexual marketplaces, escort or prostitution services, and sex-work advertising;
  • adult toys, products, or services marketed sexually; and
  • any listing, description, review, or image that links to or promotes the above, including through a redirect, shortener, or landing page.

Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes a minor, is absolutely forbidden. We remove it immediately, preserve records, and report it to the appropriate authorities and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Links to illegal websites and illegal content are prohibited

You may not upload content that is illegal, and you may not submit a listing that links to, embeds, redirects to, or otherwise directs people toward a website that hosts illegal content or facilitates illegal activity. This prohibition covers links to:

  • child sexual abuse material, or any site trading in it;
  • illegal drugs, controlled substances, prescription medicines sold without prescription, weapons, explosives, or other regulated or restricted goods offered unlawfully;
  • pirated films, music, books, games, or software; cracks, keygens, license-key resellers, and streaming or download sites that infringe copyright;
  • counterfeit goods, forged documents, or fake identification;
  • malware, spyware, ransomware, botnets, phishing kits, credential stuffing tools, stolen data or credentials, carding, and hacking-for-hire services;
  • darknet marketplaces, money laundering and money mule services, unlicensed financial services, illegal gambling, and Ponzi, pyramid, or investment-fraud schemes; and
  • human trafficking, exploitation, or any other criminal activity.

Listings must link to the product’s real, publicly reachable home page. Cloaking a destination, or changing a linked site after listing so that it serves prohibited content, is a violation of these rules.

Other prohibited content

  • Hate speech, content attacking people on the basis of a protected characteristic, and content promoting or glorifying terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm, or violence.
  • Graphic violence, gore, and content depicting cruelty to people or animals.
  • Harassment, doxxing, threats, and personal information published without consent.
  • Fraud, scams, deceptive claims, fake reviews, impersonation of a person or company, and infringement of anyone’s trademark or copyright.
  • Manipulating rankings through automated traffic, coordinated fake activity, fabricated accounts, or event replay.

Enforcement

We review listings and act on reports. Where content breaks these rules we may remove or delist it without notice, block the submitter, refuse or reverse payments connected to it, and report the matter to law enforcement. Paid features do not exempt a listing from these rules: a Capital Injection, Opening Bell bid, or sponsored placement is removed along with the listing it promotes, and fees are not refundable where the listing was removed for a violation. Because anyone may submit a listing for any publicly available product, listings appear before review; removal on discovery is how these rules are enforced in practice.

Reporting a violation

Email support@appmarket.lol with the listing’s ticker or URL and a short description of the problem. We aim to review every report within one business day, and we act on illegal content immediately.
